Woo Hoo Wednesday!

My friend Linda came over yesterday and we got a little busy doing some stamping. We didn't get much done on actually making the cards, but we have a date for next week and we'll "git 'er done!" We just have to STAY ON TASK!!

This is my favorite thing to rib Linda about, but she's right. I'm one of those people that has to keep reminding myself to stay on task to get things done. She's an inspiration for me to stay on task... I don't know how she does all the things she does she's always busy and helping others. But she keeps us on task... most of the time :)   So here is what we did....

Linda cut a couple of things out for me on her Silhouette machine one of them being this awesome card that is in the shape of a dress...   I ran the bottom portion through my BIG SHOT machine to get the design on the bottom, and added some pearls....  taa daaaa!!

I always say there are no mistakes, only opportunities for embelishments!  This one is just to add to a card, but I stamped a design with some simmering water color paint, but when I did it ... I didn't like it.  It just didn't work for either of us, so I painted the whole thing.   Then I put some white tulle on it,  a yellow ribbon and some pearls.

And I made this Thank You card before Linda got here.

And I did a little coloring to make a card after Linda left.

I used Glossy Accents on the shells, and water bubbles. It looks funny here, but much better in person.   I also used Tombow markers and Spica Glitter Pens. I like this little stamp from Me & Carrie Lou. They have some really cute designs, and the owners are very sweet people - if you go to a stamping convention check and see if they're there. Their demos are great!
