Halloween will be here before ya know it!!

Hello friends!!

Since Halloween is coming soon... I've been working on a witches hat as a decoration. The hat is from Michaels. It's paper mache,  I covered the hat in STAMPIN' UP! Halloween DSP, and decoupaged it - used some green, purple, yellow card stock at random. Then mixed SU inks with the decoupage medium and came up with some neat colors. Threw in a little sparkle with some Wink of Stella - Orange here and there, had some black glitter tulle on hand as well as the jewels, and purchased the spiders and the bird.  The bird's name is EDGAR lol (Edgar Allen Poe)

Ok I'm getting the hang of this (I think)

I've been a busy bee lately.... here are some more cards I've made and wanted to share.

Stamp:   Hello, Doily #122847(c)   #128610 (w)

I heat embossed in white on Melon Mambo  on one card and Perfect Plum on the other.

Then I stamped the poppy from the Simply Sketched (hostess set ~ let me show you how to get it!!) and then colored it in with matching ink.

NEXT is the big thing!!  I punched it with my circle punch and also punched a circle of double sided tape ( Stampin' Up! sells sheets of this!!  Multipurpose Adhesive sheets 12 12x12 sheets $14.95  #120805)

Carefully pulled the back off the adhesive and laid it on the stamped image... then pulled the backing off the top.    Then I put very fine glitter on it Dazzling Diamonds #102023  and rubbed it in... keep rubbing and it takes all the sticky off and keeps the fine glitter on the image. .....TAAA DAAAA!!

Then I put it in the center of the doily and put my ribbon on! It's all ready to go in the mail!

It's really pretty "in person",  so to speak.   Hope you like it!!

Did I tell you?

I have earned the position of   Senior Supervisor!!! YAY!!   I'm so happy!

When I started with Stampin' Up!  I told my upline... "really, I just want to do this part-time, and see if I can make my first quarter goal."  I really didn't think I would do it. BUT much to my amazement - I did it! Whew!  I was worried.  I wanted to do this, but didn't know "if I could" do this.  Does that make sense?  I still worry about meeting goals. And  I just always thought I would have to "breathe, eat, sleep" Stampin' Up! to promote. But that wasn't the case.  I've had to put some work into it. But I did it!  I just started last October, so my year anniversary is coming up and I still get excited over sales or promotions and new products!  I've always been a crafter, but STAMPIN' is my thing!

I have some awesome family & friends and they have hung in there with me too! THANK YOU

#1  GARY (aka Honey)  I love you & thank you for being so supportive of me. You have put up with dinner being late, or having to make it yourself, having to find something to do when the house has been commandeered for Stampin' Up!, and you critique my work with openness and honesty.  I'm so BLESSED that you're my husband!

#2   Sandi Grimes  - my upline - thank you for all the time you've given me in answering questions, giving me ideas on how to work my business, and just being there when I send a message saying "hey :)  have you got a minute?"  because we both know... it's going to be more than a minute!

Linda - my marketing director   ;)  2nd best critic, and partner in crime!
Diana - for being my bud, hanging with me on "those days" and signing up!
Teddy, Marge, Dee, Sue, Bea, Hullah, you guys are all my buds and AWESOME

Thank you for buying Stampin' Up! from me, and for coming to my classes and letting me share what I love with you!     HAVE A BLESSED DAY!!

Thank you to all my customers!  YOU ROCK!

hi y'all!!

Well it's a FACT  I'm not very good at blogging! I'm sorry friends....

I'm going to catch you up real quick....  We were out of town for a bit in August, then got home and our AC went out!  UGH NOT FUN!! August in Florida without AC is not pleasant... and it took a week to get the new one installed... blah blah blah blah blah...I could go on.... blah blah blah blah~~  ok, all caught up!  Let's move on!

Now let me show you some things I've been working on!  For my August 18th class, I thought I would do some UN-Christmas cards. You know, everyday cards with Christmas paper! I thought they came out really cute.

I used the Season Of Style Designer Series Paper Stack from Stampin' Up! #132181  (of course),  and the other colors of cardstock are Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler & Gumball Green.   With basic jewels and pearls, Stampin' Dimensionals and my Stampin' Trimmer & snail glue.

The stamp sets are Stampin' Up!
