Easter Blessings....

I just wanted to take a moment and say Happy Easter everyone!   I'm posting a photo that I took in Texas as we were traveling through last May.   It was a HUGE cross on the side of the road, and we were on the interstate and I looked over and knew I had to have a photo.  So this is not professionally taken.  It's a snapshot as we were driving.  But it makes me think.

Every time I look at it, I think of God and how He sent His Son, Jesus to the cross for us.  

I, as a mother, can't imagine what it would be like to send my son to die on a cross for everyone else.   I grasp at understanding this love and selflessness sometimes. 

But as He promised, there was a resurrection, and I know in my heart that HE will come again.  I thank GOD every day that He loved me that much.  

I believe the true message for us all in life is to love one another.  Yes, we'll make mistakes, I'll be the first to admit I'm nothing close to perfect.  I pray daily for forgiveness,  but because of LOVE we can be forgiven.  Thank You God and Jesus. 

Loving you all and praying for you.  Not just those immediately around me, but my family and friends on FaceBook that are near, and all over the world.

Time sure flies when you're havin' fun with Stampin' UP!    I got my order on Wednesday, and I've been trying to deliver the class their goodies!!  But life happens and you know what they say about "best laid plans..." They will be there soon ladies!  In the meanwhile... here is a cute little thank you card I made today for my customers from the last class....

 

 

Just used whisper white for the base, ran it through the big shot with the Delicate Design Folders 

and ther are 2 embossing folders in this pack for $8.95

 and coordinate with the Large Scallpe Edglits Die

Hello Friends!

Thank you for stopping by my blog! I have been really busy this week so I haven't posted in a few days.  But I'll pick up the pace and as my friend Linda would say...."stay on task"  (wink wink at Linda!)  this week...

I would like to say that I have some AMAZING friends! They are all so nice and supportive of me as a person,  my card making and STAMPIN' UP! . Thank YOU!! 

Some of my friends are crafters, card makers, scrappers, some of them just love to crochet, paint or collect things.  Others sell other products like Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple and Thirty One ~~ and I can't leave out Scentsy! Then there are the wonderful friends that buy from us.   That helps so much!  For this I say Thank YOU all... I LOVE you all!

Here is the Die Cut I Won!

Hi everyone,   a couple of posts back I told you about becoming a designer for another blog, well, unfortunately that's not going to happen.  BUT, I've met some really nice people and will continue to follow their blogs and hope you will too  :)

Thanks for taking the time to come to my page.  It's been a busy weekend and a busy day today.
I just want to say thank you to the following people.  

Over the weekend, I was invited to join a really cool group of ladies on a design team for Twist Of Faith Cards.  I'm so excited!  I can't wait to start!  http://twistoffaithcards.blogspot.com/

Hello Friday!

Welcome back to my blog!  I hope you've had time to stamp or be creative this week.  I've always got at few things going on at one time.   Do any of you do that?    Then I will get something on my mind that really inspires me and I go with it until it's finished.   I wish I could do that with housework and diets!   Hmmm on with the show!

 

These are some Stampin' Up! Cards I designed to take to a "swap" in Orlando in January. Stampin' Up! had a leadership program and I was able to go to it and LOVED it!! I had never been to anything like that and it was scarry at first, then amazing! I am a people person. I can find someone to talk to in any group... so that's what I did. When my group wasn't available, I just hung out with whoever was around. Everyone was nice.... but met some really sweet ladies from Canada. And I was really excited about meeting Shelly!!
